Some more testcases for 2.5.1/2.4.3:

pp=x^3 - 20*x^2 + 100*x + 1;a=3^3
pp=x^3 - 20*x^2 + 100*x + 1;a=2^3
pp=x^3 - 18*x^2 + 81*x + 1;a=2^3
pp=x^3 - 6*x^2 + 9*x + 1;a=1
pp=x^3 - 20*x^2 + 100*x + 1;a=1

(For $a=1$ 2.4.3 doesn't give any warning).
