I am not aware of any publication solely relying on PARI/GP implementation
of the Thue equation solver, fortunately.

thue() is particularly painful to test since in general it can be extremly
hard to check whether the program found all the solutions.

Thus, if you are able to provide some comprehensive test-suites for which you 
vouch the correctness of the (expected) result, then please contribute them.

Otherwise there is not much we can do.
