timer functionality broken/gone in version 2.9.2?

It appears that only from a certain min time on the timing is shown:

? factor(2^128-1);
? factor(2^256-1);
time = 1,368 ms.

Another thing that should be addressed is that gp
does not handle terminal resizing meaninfully.
