Note that the current PARI version is 2.9.0; I believe most of the API changes
replated to that ticket occurred in 2.4/2.5 cycle, about 6 to 10 years ago.

See COMPAT in distribution toplevel.

- gi -> gen_I()
- there is no equivalent to the global 'gpi' which had an unpredictable
  accuracy. mppi(prec) is the closest equivalent

mpeuler(prec)

There is no direct equivalent for ordvar or polvar; why do you need them ?
