If the Debian project would provide the pari 2.17.3 package built specifically for Debian bookworm 12.13, on a build server with the right setup for bookworm, that would be great.

It seems this is currently at version 2.15.2-1 for bookworm-stable and 2.17.0-2~bpo12+1 for bookworm-backports : https://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=pari-gp
